Is Deko free?

Yes. Free on iPhone and Android, with no ads.

Why is it invite-only?

Deko is better with people you know, so we're growing it circle by circle. Got a code? Enter it after you sign in. No code? Join the waitlist in the app — every friend who uses your code moves you up.

Do I have to write reviews?

Never. Ranking is a few taps. A one-line take for your circle is optional.

How does the score work?

Give a first impression (Awful, Meh, Good or Amazing), then answer “Which did you like more?” a few times. Deko places the title in your ranking and turns it into a 0–10 score with one decimal. Movies and TV are ranked separately, and scores unlock once you've ranked 5 titles of each. You can undo a pick, and skip a pair you can't call.

What is a taste match?

A whole-number percentage of how similarly you and a friend ranked the titles you've both seen, split by movies and TV, with how many titles you have in common. A friend's profile shows what you Both Love, what to Watch Together, and where you Disagree.

Where do For You picks come from?

Only from people you follow, weighted by how well each person's taste matches yours. No sponsored picks, no strangers.

Does Deko track TV shows?

Yes. Mark episodes as you go or catch up a whole season at once. Deko shows your next episode and how many are left, and you rate each season when it wraps.

What happens to my contacts?

They stay on your phone. Contacts are hashed (SHA-256) on your device before any matching happens.

How do I sign in?

With Apple (on iPhone), Google, or a 6-digit code sent to your email.

Can I make my account private?

Yes, in Settings → Privacy. You approve every follower.

Can I delete my account?
